- When ever Support team receives a request or an email from Dev team to share the PROD Extract as shown below email Screenshot. We need to follow the below process
Note: If we receive the email request to your Cognizant inbox, we need to forward the email to Meritsoft Inbox. As we can only access Meritsoft inbox in Jump Server (34.243.92.107).
- Firstly create an Internal Ticket (Task) in Zendesk with Requester >Task>Low>HSBC>Brokerage>Production as shown in below Zendesk Ticket link

- Now Login in to Jump Server (34.243.92.107) and open your Meritsoft Inbox and copy the query requested by Dev team.
- Login in to the any one of the Production Servers 10.84.18.19 or 10.84.18.43 and Login into Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 18, by searching in start, as shown in below Screenshot
- Login into the SQL with the below Credentials and make sure to choose Merit PROD and New Query as shown in below screenshots
- Now Paste the Query which was requested by Dev team as shown in below screenshot and execute it
- Right click on the below extract which you got after executing the pasted query. Select All, copy with headers and Save results as any name like Extract – 07/12/2022.CSV and Save in a Desktop, New Folder.
- Go to the Desktop, New folder where we have saved the Extract and copy the Excel and Paste it in Jump Server’s Desktop and New folder, so that we can attach it in the Meritsoft Inbox.
- Now Open the Meritsoft Inbox and reply on top of Dev team’s email by attaching the extract sheet as shown below
- Now get disconnected from the Production server and Jump server as well. Close the Internal Ticket in Zendesk.
- If you get any errors while executing the queries provided by Dev team, right away ping them in teams or reply on top their emails with the error you received.
